Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrimaryPart ("PrimaryPart," "the Service"), a platform developed and operated by PrimaryPart Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Stage A - Early Access Phase

PrimaryPart is currently operating in Stage A, an early-access phase focused on platform development and refinement. During this period, the Service is optimized for integration, testing, and early production deployment under the following conditions:

  • Feature Iteration: To allow for ongoing development, features and functionalities may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
  • Service Availability: No uptime guarantees or service-level agreements (SLA) apply during Stage A.
  • Data Retention: Historical data retention is not guaranteed, as data structures may change during platform updates.
  • "As-Is" Provision: The Service is provided strictly on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

By using the Service during Stage A, you acknowledge and accept these operational parameters and limitations.

2. Eligibility

To use PrimaryPart, you must:

  • Be 13 years of age or older
  • Hold a valid, active Roblox account in good standing
  • Comply with Roblox's Terms of Use, Community Standards, and Developer policies at all times
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction

3. Account and Access

Your PrimaryPart account is linked to your Roblox account. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your API keys confidential. You may not share, sell, or transfer your API keys to any third party.

If you believe your API key has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from the dashboard. The previous key will be invalidated within minutes.

4. Permitted Use

The Service may be used only in connection with legitimate Roblox game development and analytics purposes. By connecting your Roblox account, you authorize PrimaryPart to access your Roblox universe data as permitted by the OAuth scopes you approved during the authorization flow.

5. Developer Obligations & Data Roles

PrimaryPart provides the infrastructure, but you control the implementation. As a Developer using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following obligations:

  • Compliance: Ensure your integration and use of the Service strictly complies with Roblox’s Terms of Use, Community Standards, and all applicable Developer policies.
  • Transparency: Maintain an appropriate privacy policy or notice within your game, informing players that analytical metrics are processed via third-party infrastructure (PrimaryPart) to optimize and improve your game's overall gameplay and user experience.
  • Key Management: Securely maintain and safeguard the player-level encryption keys generated by the SDK within your own private Roblox DataStore. PrimaryPart never receives, accesses, or stores these keys.
  • Data Subject Rights (GDPR/CCPA): Because player data is encrypted at the source, PrimaryPart has no technical capability to identify individual players or fulfill deletion requests directly. You are solely responsible for handling players' data rights by removing or managing the corresponding keys from your Roblox DataStore.
  • No Plaintext PII: You must not modify the SDK or bypass its protocols to transmit personally identifiable information (PII) or raw player data to PrimaryPart in unencrypted or plaintext form.

By using the Service, you explicitly acknowledge that you act as the Data Controller regarding your players' data, and PrimaryPart acts strictly as a Data Processor operating under your instructions.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Engage in any activity that violates Roblox's Terms of Use, Community Standards, or Developer policies
  • Resell, sublicense, or grant unauthorized third-party access to the Service or your API keys
  • Circumvent rate limits, exploit undocumented endpoints, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
  • Collect or process personally identifiable player data in violation of applicable privacy laws, including GDPR or COPPA
  • Automate requests in a manner that degrades the Service for other users
  • Engage in any fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity in connection with the Service

7. Subscription and Pricing

PrimaryPart offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers based on your game's average concurrent users (CCU). Current pricing is described on the PrimaryPart website. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis.

During Stage A, pricing and tier structures may differ from the final production model. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice.

8. Intellectual Property

PrimaryPart, including its API, dashboard, and documentation, is the intellectual property of PrimaryPart Labs. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the closed-source platform without express written permission. The PrimaryPart Roblox SDK may be modified strictly for your own internal use within your Roblox games; however, you may not redistribute, resell, or publicly host modified versions of the SDK.

Your game and its data remain yours. By sending data to PrimaryPart, you grant PrimaryPart Labs a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze that data to provide the Service to you, improve the overall functionality of the platform, and generate aggregated, anonymized industry metrics that cannot be linked back to you or your game.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. PrimaryPart Labs does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. This disclaimer applies with particular force during Stage A.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrimaryPart Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if PrimaryPart Labs has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall PrimaryPart Labs' aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the total amounts paid by you to PrimaryPart Labs in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim. For users on a free tier, PrimaryPart Labs' liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
